Who made the list? Particularly well-rounded, with the vision, creativity, focus, and great people skills to get the best out of their employees. To compile the list of Best Bosses, FSB collaborated with Winning Workplaces, a non-profit organization that helps small businesses create successful workplace practices.

Presented annually since 1985, The Small Business of the Year Awards honor the achievements of small business and the spirit of entrepreneurship.  This awards luncheon typically attracts more than 300 attendees from a wide array of industries in the region.

2003: Cookie Bus wins Silver SOFI Award for Outstanding Package or Design

Every year, NASFT issues its SOFI Awards - the Food Industry equivalent of the Oscars.  The sofi™ Awards recognize excellence in specialty food and beverages in 33 categories. “sofi” stands for Specialty Outstanding Food Innovation. “The 2008 sofi winners are evidence that our members continue to create distinctive products that delight consumers,” said Ann Daw, president of the NASFT. “That is part of why our industry remains resilient in this challenging economy,” she added.
