Thank you for your kind words and the replacement order sounds perfect. It was totally unexpected to get a response so quickly. And that someone read and understood how special this gift was to have been as we know it will be the last one Mom receives from her. Last year she sent us a poinsettia and we still have it and it has doubled in size and is gorgeous. It will be one of those living memories for us to cherish as we say goodbye to her. Again, thank you for your outstanding customer service and being understanding of this unique situation. Here is the picture we sent to our cousins to show their Mother of Mom with the Cookie Tower.

Meyer lemon-ricotta pancake
I grew up in central California with a 6”” tall, 6”” wide Meyer lemon tree in the backyard. I love them, but now living in the east, they’re practically impossible to find. So, I love your pancake mix. Also, I went to the Four Seasons Restaurant in NYC which is known for the Meyer lemon-ricotta pancake. Outstanding! So, I now use your mix with the following changes: add a bit more lemon peel, a bit more baking powder (and sometimes a little club soda), then put in almost equal amounts of your mix and ricotta cheese (a bit less cheese). Add more milk as necessary, but this won’t be a typical pancake mix consistency due to the cheese. Make pancakes as usual. Different texture, great pancakes!

Wooden box guitar
Hello Dancing Deer, I am a student at Algonquin Regional High School, and for one of our Term Projects we had to create a musical instrument. Being a guitar player i decided to make an acoustic guitar. After searching around my home for a suitable guitar body I came upon one of your cookie boxes, and realized that it was perfect for a body. From there I drilled a series of sound holes and finished up the neck and electronics. In the end the tone was great and the box stood up remarkably. Thanks a lot sending your cookies in handy wooden boxes. P.S. Attached is a photo of the finished guitar

One of my fondest memories
I just wanted to let you folks know how excited & pleased I was to see you online!! I ran across your wonderful treats when I wandering around the Copley Square in Boston way back in 1997. I bought your chocolate-tangerine cookies & LOVED them so much that I wrote down your address from the package. I was so sad when I lost that address book & your address when we moved from Ks. to Mi. Now here you are online…just in time for Valentine’s day! Your treats have always been one of my fondest memories of my trip to Boston all those years ago. Keep up your wonderful community work!
