Amazed that a cake could be delivered through the “mail”!

I write to tell you how impressed and pleased I am with the chocolate cake I ordered this week for my mother in an “independent living” facility.  Her birthday was yesterday and when I tracked the cake, I learned that it had been delivered but she hadn’t seen it in the late afternoon.  I called today to see if it arrived TODAY and she told me that the manager of the facility had been holding the package yesterday since she guessed it was a cake and wanted to bring it to my mother when all the residents were at dinner.  So…since Mom went out to dinner last night, she and her friends enjoyed the cake today at lunch.  She and her friends (all over the age of 80) were amazed that a cake could be delivered through the “mail”!  In addition, she said it was delicious! 
Many thanks for allowing a grown up daughter to celebrate her mother’s birthday without traveling 50+ miles!  You deers are the best!

She was so excited she had a birthday party in a box

I want you to know that my 94-year-old aunt was thrilled with the birthday cake I recently sent her. She was so excited she had a birthday party in a box - I think it was the high point of her birthday. I got many thank you’s and want to share them with you. Thank you!

Oh my my my—I got the box of treats on Friday—intended to share with my sister this weekend but there was a problem—I opened the box, tried one of the brownies—there is no way I am going to share these with anyone! I now am a hoarder!  From my kindergarten days I can hear my old teacher chastising me “now now, you must share”—if I crinkle the plastic wrap that the brownies were in enough, I can drown that little voice out! Yes that does seem to work well!

This fan letter is long overdue

This fan letter is long overdue—I have been a faithful customer for a long time. I LOVE your gingerbread men cookies (seasonal), even better than mine! They remind me of a Moravian Spice cookie only better. And the Molasses Clove cookies, I live for them now! My daughter swoons for your Peppermint Fudge brownies, and my mother covets the Deep Dark Gingerbread cake. We simply can’t get enough! And for me, your products are perfect for the holidays - when I am the busiest at work - I depend on Dancing Deer goodies at home. I know the sweet treats I put out for friends and family are better than anything I could buy at my local bakery.

The plates and candles were perfect.

My husband received an Espresso Birthday cake and we were so impressed by such a clever idea. Small enough to mark the day, but not so big that it would go to waste. The plates and candles were perfect. So we are now sending these to all of our friends who are spread far and wide. Great idea - wonderful presentation. Thank you!
