This week, Susan Ruderman nominated Amy Eisenman – an enthusiastic volunteer at the Animal Rescue League of Boston .

Here is a little more about what Susan said of Amy:

“The Animal Rescue League of Boston is fortunate to have many, many wonderful volunteers. Some of them clean cages, some walk dogs, some soothe shy cats, some staff fundraising tables at events and some do the multitude of other tasks required by an organization that assists over 8,000 animals per year. But few of our volunteers are as special as Amy. Not only does she do all of the tasks mentioned above—often simultaneously—but she also coordinates our Facebook page so that everyone can share in the good news of animals finding loving permanent homes. And Amy does it all with a smile and infectious energy. If ever anyone deserved the title of “Deer,” Amy Eisenman is that person.”
