On the rare occasions when we come to a shelter with open rooms, we enjoy the opportunity to spend the night and learn more about what the families experience. We can't really say enough about the hospitality, kindness and friendship we've met along the way in all the shelters. But we also can't let the evening in Charlotte with Wannetta go without a special note. Really by the end of the evening together I was lobbying for Wannetta to adopt me! She was very warm and extremely kind. The whole shelter is quite extraordinary and well run and Wannetta is one of the many people who make it all work so well. Thank you to the whole team at Charlotte Charlotte Emergency Housing.
