Our CEO and co-founder, Trish Karter, is embarking on a bike ride to raise awareness for ending family homelessness. Beginning on April 22 in Atlanta, GA she’ll be biking 1,500 miles back home to Boston, arriving shortly before Mother’s Day. Trish will be sharing her story on Facebook
and Twitter along the way.
Family homelessness is a cause that affects many of us— every year, 600,000 families with 1.35 million children experience homelessness in the US – and there are many ways you can help. Here’s a link of things you can do: Feel free to leave us a comment and continue the conversation.
Whether you can donate financially to the cause, join Trish on the road, or donate your status updates, tweets, or blog entry or just get involved in the conversation on this blog, it will help us raise awareness about the issue. Additionally, you can shop Sweet Home products to help- Dancing Deer donates 35% of the retail price to scholarships for homeless mothers!
