Trish: Just talked to a dear friend in Florida. We always send her and her husband a cake at Christmas. Our Florida friend has a friend in Boston who did her a special favor, so our Florida friend sent her a Dancing Deer cake by way of thanks. The Boston friend called Florida immediately upon receipt: “HOW DO YOU KNOW ABOUT MY DANCING DEER? EVERYONE HERE KNOWS IT’S THE BEST CAKE IN THE WORLD!!” True Boston provincialism or just plain “hometown” enthusiasm???? Whatever—just keep the goodies coming.

What a lovely memory
I sent my godparents your cocoa and bluberry cake that I ordered from Greenmountain catalog. My godfather
said the cake reminded him of the one my godmother used to make…who passed away. What a lovely memory of my godfather to have over the holidays and we have your cake to thank for it!
